NIC Asia Bank awards scholarships to 75 talented students nationwide
The initiative targets students from grades 6 to 10 studying outside the Kathmandu Valley.
KATHMANDU: NIC Asia Bank has awarded scholarships to 75 talented students from all seven provinces, continuing its commitment to corporate social responsibility.
The scholarships were provided to academically gifted students from underprivileged, marginalized, and differently-abled backgrounds studying in government and community schools.
The initiative targets students from grades 6 to 10 studying outside the Kathmandu Valley.
Applications were invited to ensure representation from government and community schools across all provinces, and the bank selected 75 deserving students based on merit and need.
In previous years, NIC Asia Bank has also supported government and community schools by providing scholarships and establishing library buildings to promote education.
The bank believes that these scholarships will enhance the educational quality, foster personal development, and encourage students to continue their studies.
