KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) saw a double-digit fall today, with the NEPSE index dropping 10.25 points to close at 2,698.44.

A total of 330 companies traded 26,236,204 shares across 111,978 transactions, generating a turnover of Rs 11.66 billion, according to NEPSE data.

Among market groups, the Investment sector rose 0.08% and Others climbed 0.46%, while all other sectors ended lower.

Key declines included:

On the gainers’ list, Super Mai Hydropower Limited hit a positive circuit, marking strong demand, while Kalinchowk Darshan Limited suffered the steepest loss, plummeting 8.91%.

In terms of trading value, Super Mardi Hydropower Limited led the market with .Rs 563.48 million in transactions.

On the volume front, Ridi Power Company Limited recorded the highest share turnover with 1,658,725 shares traded.
