NEPSE sees moderate gains

KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) showed a slight improvement today, with the index closing at 2,695.73, down by 1.53 points.

Among sectoral indices, Development Banks, Hotels & Tourism, Manufacturing & Processing, Non-Life Insurance, and Trading groups saw gains, while the remaining sectors recorded declines.
Sy Panel Nepal Ltd., Shrinagar Agrotech Industries Ltd., and Himstar Energy Company Ltd. hit the positive circuit, whereas Mithila Laghubitta Financial Institution Ltd. faced a negative circuit.
In terms of turnover, Aankhukhola Hydropower Company Ltd. topped the chart, with 12.52 million shares traded, totaling Rs 41.49 crore.
