NEPSE rises 10.87 points to 2,633.76; turnover exceeds Rs 5.13 billion

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index rose by 10.87 points on Wednesday, closing at 2,633.76.

According to NEPSE, a total of 11,946,333 shares of 342 companies were traded through 63,981 transactions, generating a turnover of Rs 5.13 billion.

All sectoral sub-indices ended the session in positive territory.

The Manufacturing and Processing group led the gains, rising by 1.61 percent.

Shares of SY Panel Nepal Limited and Ngadi Hydropower Limited hit the upper circuit, while Win Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited fell to the lower circuit.

In terms of transaction value, Green Venture Limited topped the chart, with 349,744 shares traded worth Rs 177.9 million.
