Nepse index rises 6.51 points amid positive market sentiment

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index gained 6.51 points, a 0.23% increase from the previous day, closing at 2,776.90 points.

On the trading day, 142 companies saw their share prices rise, while 107 companies experienced a decline.

A total of 61,784 transactions were recorded, with 13,124,310 shares changing hands, amounting to approximately Rs 563.65 million in total turnover.

Compared to Monday, the trading volume fell slightly; Monday saw a total turnover of Rs 617 million.

All sub-sectors reported gains, including life insurance, manufacturing & processing, development banks, investment, other sectors, and trade.
