NEPSE index rises 19.27 points on broad market gains

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index climbed 19.27 points, up 0.72%, reaching 2,674.20.

Among traded companies, 187 saw their share prices rise, 64 declined, and 11 remained unchanged.

All sub-sectors recorded gains during the session.

A total of 55,206 transactions were executed, amounting to NPR 564.83 crore, with 13.19 million shares changing hands.

Notable gainers included Salpa Development Bank and Reliance Spinning Mills, both surging 9.99%, while Barahi Hydropower Public rose 6.74%, NIBL Growth Fund 6%, and Goodwill Finance 3.62%.

On the downside, Himstar Energy Company dropped 4.16%, and Corporate Development Bank fell 3.61%.
