KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index declined by 19.43 points today, closing at 2,528.16.

Among sectoral movements, Mutual Funds rose by 0.06%, Trading by 1.48%, and Other Groups by 0.79%, while all other sub-indices recorded declines. Sectoral losses included:

In terms of price circuits, Shubham Power Ltd. and Gramin Bikash Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. hit the upper price limit, while Samaj Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. hit the lower circuit.
Based on turnover, Nepal Reinsurance Company Ltd. recorded the highest trading value at Rs 32.78 million, whereas Hydroelectricity Investment & Development Company Ltd. saw the highest trading volume with 433,097 promoter shares exchanged.
