KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index showed a modest rebound today after declining for the previous two trading sessions.
The index rose by 5.08 points, closing at 2,731.59.
A total of 334 companies saw 23,618,186 shares traded across 121,992 transactions, amounting to Rs 1.149 billion in turnover.
All sectoral sub-indices advanced except for Banking, Investment, Life Insurance, Microfinance, and Non-Life Insurance. Shares of Corporate Development Bank Limited and Aankhukhola Hydropower Company Limited hit positive circuit limits, while Goodwill Finance Debenture–2083 recorded the largest drop, falling 8.07%.
