NEPSE drops 11.29 points after previous day gains

KATHMANDU: The NEPSE index fell by 11.29 points on Thursday, reversing the 12.17-point gain recorded on Wednesday.

Among the traded companies, 77 saw their share prices rise, while 165 experienced a decline, and 9 remained unchanged.
The number of companies with falling shares outpaced gainers, contributing to the double-digit drop in the NEPSE index.
Thursday’s trading recorded 50,437 transactions, with a total of 1,868,146 shares exchanged, amounting to Rs 541.69 crore—a notable increase from Wednesday’s Rs 468.19 crore turnover.
Out of 13 sub-indices, all except Production & Processing and Collective Investment Schemes declined, pushing the overall Nepse down.
