Nepal has to beat UAE to reach the World Cup

KATHMANDU: FEB. 22 – Today, Nepal will face UAE in the semifinals of the ICC T20 World Cup Global Qualifier. The semi-final game will begin at 4:15 p.m. Nepali time.

Nepal has played four T20 Internationals with the UAE, winning two and losing two. Prior to the last global qualifier, the UAE had defeated Nepal by a margin of 25 runs in a four-nation series.

However, Nepal’s performance in the global qualifiers has been outstanding. Nepal easily qualified for the semi-finals by winning all three group stage matches.

UAE, on the other hand, had two wins and one defeat in the group stage. This game is important for both countries as the victory in this game will determine the journey to the World Cup in Australia.
