Nepal Bank launches attractive interest waiver scheme for loan repayment
The bank has described this as a “golden opportunity” for customers to clear their dues.
KATHMANDU: Nepal Bank Limited has introduced a special scheme offering interest waivers to its loan customers, encouraging them to clear or regularize their outstanding loans.
Under the scheme, borrowers whose loans were classified as non-performing before Chaitra 2079 BS, with outstanding amounts up to Rs 10 million, can settle their loans by Availing interest concessions under specified terms by Ashadh 2083 BS.
The bank has described this as a “golden opportunity” for customers to clear their dues.
In addition, customers whose loans fall under the inactive or active categories after Baisakh 2080 BS can also benefit from interest concessions if they settle or regularize their outstanding principal and interest by Chaitra 2082 BS.
Nepal Bank has urged all eligible loan customers to visit their branch offices and take advantage of this interest waiver facility.
