KATHMANDU: Nepal Airlines’ Kathmandu-Dubai flight has been delayed due to Co-pilot illness.
The Kathmandu-Dubai-Kathmandu flight was delayed as the co-pilot became ill just as the airline’s widebody plane was about to take off.
Flight RA229, which was scheduled to depart on Saturday night at 12 p.m., is currently en route to Dubai.
The flight was delayed for 11 hours as the co-pilot, Corporation Spokesperson Archana Khadka, suffer ill and there was no replacement co-pilot available.
Following the flight’s delay, 266 passengers who had received their boarding pass were lodged in hotels in Sinamangal, Gaushala, and Gyaneshwar.
