Nemwang was resting at home owing to a cold, according to Personal Secretary Krishna Prasad Kafle. Nemwang, who returned from Dharan on Sunday, has been suffering from a fever since Monday morning. In the evening, the doctor who came to the residence assessed Nemwang’s health. He had a 102-degree temperature at the time.
According to the family sources, the doctor said that after the health check-up, there is no need to go to the hospital and rest at home.
After eating soup in the evening and sleeping, he was found unconscious in the toilet of his house at around 1 am and was taken to the Teaching Hospital Maharajgunj. By the time he reached the hospital, he had passed away.
