Neha Chaudhary’s father-in-law arrested, husband Dr. Pankaj in jail
After being tortured and evicted from the house, Neha filed a case against her husband, Dr. Pankaj Chaudhary, father-in-law Ram Prabesh, and other members.
JANAKPURDHAM: Ram Prabesh Chaudhary, the father-in-law of Neha Chaudhary of Mahottari’s Ramgopalpur Municipality 5, has also been arrested for domestic violence.
After being tortured and evicted from the house, Neha filed a case against her husband, Dr. Pankaj Chaudhary, father-in-law Ram Prabesh, and other members. Pankaj, Neha’s husband, was arrested earlier.
The court has incarcerated him pending further investigation. On Sunday, Neha’s father-in-law, Ram Prabesh, 60, was apprehended by Mahottari police from Manara Sishwa Municipality 2.
Neha and Pankaj were married according to social tradition on 9 March, 2022.
Pankaj’s family paid more than a crore as dowry in the marriage. However, Neha is accused of forcing her to build a house in Kathmandu and torturing him when she refused.
Pankaj initially filed for divorce after the relationship ended. Following that, Neha filed a case against her husband Pankaj, father-in-law Ram Prabesh, and four other family members, accusing them of forgery, domestic violence, dowry, adultery, and other charges.
