On Sunday alone, a total of 2,662 delegates completed their registration.

According to the organizers, registrations were recorded from all seven provinces as well as from the Kathmandu Valley and sister organizations.

From Koshi Province, 425 delegates registered, followed by 446 from Madhesh, 432 from Bagmati, 296 from Gandaki, 398 from Lumbini, 134 from Karnali, and 148 from Sudurpaschim.

Additionally, 178 delegates from the Kathmandu Valley (Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Lalitpur) and 195 from sister organizations, well-wishers, and public contact committees also registered.

To facilitate the process, the pro-special convention group had arranged eight separate registration counters.

Coordinator of the Special Convention District Area ‘Focal Person’ Coordination Committee, Yuvraj Pandey, informed that registration resumed from 8:30 am on Monday to accommodate delegates who missed the process on the first day.

He added that the registration process would continue until 11:00 am.

Meanwhile, the closed-door session of the special convention is scheduled for today. Although it was initially set to begin at 8:00 am, organizers said the session was delayed due to technical reasons.
