Nabil Bank donates service vehicle to Janakpur’s Manavsewa Ashram

KATHMANDU: Nabil Bank Limited has donated a service vehicle (auto) to the Manavsewa Ashram in Janakpur as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

The handover ceremony was held on Friday, where Nabil Bank CEO Manoj Kumar Gyawali officially handed over the vehicle to the Ashram’s chairman Ramji Adhikari.

Speaking at the event, Ashram caretaker Pawan Singhania expressed gratitude, noting that the new vehicle would significantly ease daily operations and improve the delivery of services to the residents.

CEO Gyawali praised the Ashram for its dedicated work in supporting homeless and vulnerable populations and stated that Nabil Bank is always ready to support initiatives that benefit humanity. “Assisting institutions like Manavsewa Ashram aligns with our responsibility to society, and we are committed to continuing such partnerships in the future,” he added.

Chairman Adhikari shared that, without a dedicated service vehicle, managing daily operations and providing timely assistance to the homeless had been challenging.

He expressed optimism that the newly donated vehicle would streamline services and improve outreach. “We faced difficulties in rescuing and caring for homeless individuals. With this service vehicle, we can enhance the efficiency of our work. We are deeply grateful to Nabil Bank for this noble contribution,” he said.

Nabil Bank has previously provided two rescue vehicles to the Ashram. Established in 2060 BS, the Manavsewa Ashram aims to provide basic humanitarian services to homeless and vulnerable individuals, offering them a dignified life.

The Ashram has expanded its services across all seven provinces of Nepal, rescuing nearly 13,000 people to date.

As part of its CSR initiatives, Nabil Bank prioritizes humanitarian assistance that saves lives and promotes dignity.
