KATHMANDU: At 11:30 am today, a session of the National Assembly (NA) is underway at the Federal Parliament building in New Baneswor.

In today’s session, the Chair of the National Assembly will nominate members for the Business Advisory Committee.

Furthermore, Sonam Gelzen Sherpa, the Chair of the Committee on Federalism Strengthening and National Concerns, will propose examining the 2080 study report on human-wildlife conflict in national parks, wildlife sanctuaries, and buffer zones.

The primary agenda for today’s meeting includes discussing the principles and priorities outlined in the Appropriation Bill for the fiscal year 2081-082.

Finance Minister Barshaman Pun is expected to address inquiries regarding the principles and priorities of the Appropriation Bill.

Additionally, Minister Pun will present a proposal to refer the ‘Secure Transactions (First Amendment) Bill, 2080’ to the Legislation Management Committee for quarterly deliberation.

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal will also propose a review of the amendments made by the House of Representatives on the Monitoring and Evaluation Bill, 2076.

Furthermore, a proposal will be tabled to re-endorse the Monitoring and Evaluation Bill, 2076, incorporating the amendments approved by the House of Representatives.
