KATHMANDU: Indian Premier League side Mumbai Indians defeated Punjab Kings by six wickets in the 58th match of the tournament at Dharamshala on Friday.
Batting first, Punjab Kings posted a competitive total of 200/8 in their 20 overs after a solid start from Priyansh Arya and Prabhsimran Singh.
Prabhsimran top-scored with 57 runs, while late attacking knocks from Azmatullah Omarzai and other batters helped the side reach the 200-run mark.
For Mumbai, Shardul Thakur delivered a match-changing spell, claiming four wickets to break Punjab’s batting momentum in the middle overs.

Despite the defeat, Punjab Kings remain fourth in the points table, while Mumbai Indians are already out of the playoff race.
