KATHMANDU: In a bid to bridge the gap in educational opportunities, Muktinath Bikas Bank has launched its “Bag of Opportunity” campaign, providing school bags and stationery to economically disadvantaged and underserved students.

The bank says that through this initiative, it aims not only to equip students with material essentials but also to instill confidence, hope, and a sense of possibility for a brighter future.
During the distribution events, the joy on the children’s faces was more than just excitement over the items—they reflected a newfound belief: “I too can achieve.” Alongside school bags, the bank also distributed school uniforms and awarded scholarships to hardworking and outstanding students, recognising their dedication and potential.
As part of its ongoing corporate social responsibility efforts, Muktinath Bikas Bank has committed to creating a lasting impact in communities through education-focused initiatives.
To date, the campaign has reached more than 500 schools across districts including Surkhet, Kalikot, and Dhanusha.
