MP Gaire expresses concern over delay in passing Education Bill
Thakur Prasad Gaire highlighted the government’s sluggish implementation of commitments among stakeholders related to the School Education Bill.
KATHMANDU: Thakur Gaire, a member of parliament from the CPN (UML), has expressed concern over the delay in passing the Education Bill.
Speaking at Monday’s session of the House of Representatives, Thakur Prasad Gaire highlighted the government’s sluggish implementation of commitments among stakeholders related to the School Education Bill.
He emphasized the need for the parliament to pass key legislations such as the Civil Service Bill and the Police Service Bill to send a positive message to the public.
Gaire further stressed that laws promoting good governance, human rights, press freedom, employment, entrepreneurship, industrialization, tourism, and agriculture are essential for building an export-oriented economic system.
He called on the government to remain committed and proactive in the law-making process to meet today’s developmental needs.
