MP Dhakal demands end to passenger mistreatment at TIA

KATHMANDU: CPN (UML) lawmaker Eknath Dhakal has raised concerns over the mistreatment of passengers at Tribhuvan International Airport.

Speaking at the International Relations and Tourism Committee meeting at Singha Durbar on Friday, Dhakal expressed dissatisfaction over the way travelers are often treated as if they are being deceived.

He urged the government to take action to end such behavior.

Dhakal highlighted that passengers are not receiving the services they are entitled to and that their dignity is being compromised.

He also pointed out that the airport is being managed under the authority of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) but is currently operating in a disorganized manner.
