KATHMANDU: Nepali feature film ‘Lokanti’, produced under the banner of Krishan Films, is set to release nationwide on Friday, Dec 12 (Mangsir 26).

Directed by Ranjit Rana, the movie is presented as a complete family drama, centering on family, love, struggle, peace, and subtle social conflicts.
Asraj Garach plays the lead role, while Richa Thapa features alongside him, showcasing strong on-screen chemistry.
The film also stars Bimala Limbu, Kumar Nyaupane, Bikash Adhikari, Daman Rupakheti, and Govind Prabhat
Notably, Kumar Nyaupane and Bikash Adhikari are making their acting debut in this project and have expressed excitement about their first film experience.
Shot in natural locations across Kavre district, ‘Lokanti’ aims to highlight social sensitivities hidden within a family love story.
The film’s music is directed by Bibek Chaudhary, and cinematography is handled by Ronish Tamang Chyangba.
