Directed by Santosh Sen and featuring Sameer Bhatt in a lead role, the film is slated to screen in over 200 AMC theatres nationwide, with more than 1,000 showings across the country.
‘Balidan’ breaks new ground as the first Nepali film to ever be showcased in AMC, the largest cinema chain in the U.S., signaling a new chapter for Nepali cinema on the global stage.

Beyond AMC, the film will also be featured in other prestigious American cinema chains, including Cinemark, Marcus, and Regal.
The film has already generated significant buzz, thanks to its striking posters and teaser releases. In addition to Sameer Bhatta, the ensemble cast includes Saugat Malla, Arpan Thapa, Reecha Sharma, Kabita Rai, Hemanta Budhathoki, Prem Puri, and Santosh Sen.
Presented by Ashusen Films, with Pawan Bradford Beast as producer and Prem Puri as executive producer, ‘Balidan’ is being hailed as a bold milestone for Nepali cinema, pushing it toward international recognition.
