Modi congratulates Nepal on peaceful parliamentary elections

KATHMANDU: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated Nepal and its citizens following the successful completion of the country’s House of Representatives elections.
Taking to social media, Modi expressed happiness that the election in Nepal was conducted in a peaceful and well-organized manner.
He praised the enthusiasm shown by Nepali voters in exercising their democratic rights.
According to Modi, the active participation of the people reflects the strength of Nepal’s democratic process and marks an important milestone in the country’s democratic journey.
The Indian leader also reaffirmed India’s commitment to working closely with the new government that will be formed after the election.
