KATHMANDU The CPN (Maoist Centre) has decided to intensify its movement against ongoing irregularities in the country.

The decision was made during the party’s Standing Committee meeting held on Monday at the central office in Paris Danda.

Speaking to journalists after the meeting, party chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal announced that the party will once again take to the streets to raise public awareness and mobilize action against various irregularities observed across the nation.

Chair Dahal emphasized that the party is united and committed to strengthening its unity further.

He called for an end to factionalism and groupism within the party, stating that collective determination has been taken to maintain party cohesion.

“Our party has played the most important and leading role in the country’s democratic movement and the consolidation of the democratic republic. We faced the challenge of uniting the party, and we have responsibly fulfilled that duty. Now, with strengthened unity, we have resolved to end all factional and group divisions. We have also decided to once again engage with the people and lead a movement against the irregularities appearing in the country,” Dahal said.

Furthermore, the chairman revealed that a committee has been formed to investigate and take action against those responsible for violations during the cooling-off period, with a report expected soon.
