KATHMANDU: Manchester United and AFC Bournemouth played out an extraordinary 4–4 draw at Old Trafford, with eight different players finding the net in a high-octane encounter.

United took an early lead in the first half, with Amad opening the scoring in the 13th minute.

Bournemouth responded just before halftime through Antoine Semenyo in the 40th minute, only for Casemiro to restore United’s advantage during injury time of the first half.

The second half saw a strong comeback from Bournemouth. Evanilson equalized immediately in the 46th minute, assisted by Marcus Tavernier, before Tavernier himself scored from a free-kick in the 52nd minute to put Bournemouth 3–2 ahead.

United refused to back down. Captain Bruno Fernandes scored a brilliant free-kick in the 77th minute, followed two minutes later by a goal from Mateus Cunha to give United a 4–3 lead.

However, substitute Junior Kropi struck in the 84th minute to level the score once again. Bournemouth had a chance to snatch a win during injury time, but United’s defense held firm.

With this draw, Manchester United sit sixth in the league with 26 points, while Bournemouth remain 13th.
