Mahesh Budhathoki releases sequel to ‘Kafal Gedi Kutukka’ titled ‘Sanghuri Katera’

KATHMANDU: The second part of the popular eastern Nepali folk song “Kafal Gedi Kuttukai”, titled “Sanghuri Kaṭera”, has been officially released.

The song is now available on Music Nepal’s YouTube channel, featuring lyrics, melody, and vocals by folk maestro Mahesh Budhathoki himself.

The song beautifully reflects the culture, traditions, and heartfelt emotions of Nepali village life.

It combines soulful lyrics, traditional instruments, and rhythmic beats, offering a rich and immersive musical experience.

Recorded by Nakul Karki, the song was mixed and mastered by senior Music Nepal sound engineer Prakash Kharel.

The music video features lead performances by Saroj Praja and Rista Adhikari, with direction and main choreography by Surendra Basel.

Choreography assistance was provided by Babita Pokhrel.

Cinematography was executed by Dinesh Parajuli’s team, while editing and color grading were skillfully handled by Rakesh Dhakal.

Produced by Sagar Lama, the video also showcases the talents of makeup artist Punam Chaudhary and features Hari Adhikari as the group leader for the chorus dance sequences.
