Machhapuchchhre Bank expands MBL Smart Loan service to QR merchants
The bank has launched the QR Merchant–MBL Smart Loan service, targeting QR merchants affiliated with various payment networks.
KATHMANDU: Machhapuchchhre Bank Limited (MBL), reaffirming its commitment to supporting self-employed individuals and small and medium-sized sole proprietorship businesses, has extended its MBL Smart Loan service to QR merchants.
The bank has launched the QR Merchant–MBL Smart Loan service, targeting QR merchants affiliated with various payment networks.
This initiative has been introduced to address the financial needs of QR-based merchants and provide them with easy access to credit facilities.
According to the bank, the service allows self-employed individuals and small and medium-sized businesses to obtain loans without collateral through a simple and hassle-free process using the MBL M-Smart App.
Since the loan approval process is conducted digitally, the bank believes it will save time while making the service more accessible, transparent, and efficient.
Currently, Machhapuchchhre Bank operates through 165 branches, 88 branchless banking service centers, and 11 extension counters, totaling 274 service outlets nationwide.
In addition, the bank serves more than 1.8 million customers through 199 ATMs, offering comprehensive banking services supported by modern technology.
