Lumbini Bikas Bank honors Kami Rita for 31st everest summit
In a special ceremony organized today, the bank’s Chief Executive Officer Naresh Singh Bohora honored Sherpa and wished him continued success.
KATHMANDU: Lumbini Bikas Bank has felicitated renowned mountaineer Kami Rita Sherpa, who successfully scaled Mount Everest for the 31st time this climbing season, extending his world record.
Sherpa has been associated with the bank since its establishment, carrying its banner to the world’s highest peak multiple times as part of what both sides describe as a “continuous partnership.”
In a special ceremony organized today, the bank’s Chief Executive Officer Naresh Singh Bohora honored Sherpa and wished him continued success.
Sherpa expressed pride in representing not only himself but also his family, the Sherpa community, and the entire nation through his mountaineering achievements.
He said that reaching the summit for the 31st time was a collective accomplishment that brings recognition and pride to Nepal, adding that he is pleased to have carried the bank’s logo to the top of the world once again.
Sherpa has remained closely associated with Lumbini Bikas Development Bank for over two decades.
