KATHMANDU: Lucknow Super Giants pulled off a dramatic three-wicket victory against Kolkata Knight Riders in a high-scoring Indian Premier League clash at Eden Gardens.

Batting first, Kolkata posted a competitive total of 181 for 4 in their 20 overs.

Angkrish Raghuvanshi led the charge with 45 runs, while Ajinkya Rahane contributed a solid 41.

In response, Lucknow struggled early in the chase and found themselves under pressure at 104 for 5 in the 13th over.

However, a stunning counterattack turned the game on its head.

Youngster Mukul Chaudhary played a match-winning knock, smashing an unbeaten 54 off just 25 balls. He was well supported by Ayush Badoni, who also scored a crucial 54.

With 14 runs needed in the final over, Chaudhary held his nerve and launched a decisive six to bring Lucknow within touching distance.

The winning run came off the final ball via a leg bye, as Lucknow reached 182 for 7 in 18.2 overs.

The thrilling win earned Lucknow two valuable points in the tournament standings.
