League 2: UAE surpassed 100 runs

KATHMANDU: Nepal and the UAE are playing in the final match of the ICC World Cup League-2.

UAE has scored 100 runs after winning the toss and batting first. In 17.1 overs, UAE scored 100 runs while losing two wickets.

Nepal, which has already secured the ODI status, will reach the global qualifiers for the ODI World Cup if it defeats the UAE today.

That is why this game is the biggest and most important in the history of Nepali cricket.

If Nepal wins today’s match, it will overtake Namibia with 39 points and qualify for the One Day World Cup in Zimbabwe.

Since defeating Namibia on Feb 14 at Kirtipur ground, Nepal has won 10 out of 11 matches played.
