Laos sets date for 1st session of new parliament

VIENTIANE: The Standing Committee of the Lao National Assembly (NA) has approved the schedule for the inaugural session of the NA’s 10th legislature, which will be held from March 23 to March 27, according to an announcement issued on Friday.

The five-day session will take place in Lao capital Vientiane, and the announcement calls on all members of the NA, its internal bodies, and relevant sectors to ensure the successful organization of the inaugural session and the fulfillment of its objectives.
