KUWAIT: The Directorate General of Civil Aviation in Kuwait announced Thursday the resumption of normal air traffic after its temporary and precautionary suspension following the Iranian attacks.

“Air Traffic in Kuwaiti Airspace has returned to normal following the end of the circumstances that has necessitated earlier precautionary measures”, the Directorate said in a statement on X platform.

It noted that normal operations have resumed at Kuwait International Airport, with flights operating according to the approved schedules.

The Directorate affirmed that it is closely and continuously monitoring the situation to ensure the highest levels of safety and security in the airspace.

The Directorate had previously announced a temporary closure of the airspace as a precautionary measure following the Iranian attacks on Kuwait and the potential risks they posed to civil aviation in the region.
