Kumar stated that despite six investigations over five years, it has been confirmed that the project completed works worth 10–15 crore rupees more than the funds collected.
He accused the government of unnecessarily dragging his brother into trouble.
Posting on social media, he wrote, “This is not the brother who bows his head in pressure. Today he was forced to place his hand on his head, but even then, his head has not fallen, brother.”
Kumar highlighted Sitaram Kattel’s hard work and the challenges faced throughout the investigation process. Even after repeated inquiries, he said, the project has not received the expected amount. “Six investigations in five years have proven that you completed 10–15 crore rupees more work than the amount collected. This has only raised your dignity even higher, brother,” he added.
