Khan, minister of water supply, resigned, indication that the Janamat Party to leave the govt

KATHMANDU: Abdul Khan, the Minister of Water, has resigned.

Khan of the Janamat Party resigned before Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, expressing dissatisfaction with the ministry he received.

The Janamat Party had previously demanded the Ministry of Industry.

However, the Ministry of Water Supply has received public opinion.

In the newly expanded cabinet, Khan demanded that the Ministry of Industry be restored to him. However, after being denied the said ministry, he resigned in dissatisfaction.

Khan was appointed to the 7-party coalition government led by the CPN-UML on Dec 26.
