Petrol Pump is slated for release in 2083 BS. The production team has not yet revealed the full cast.
KATHMANDU: The team behind last year’s Nepali blockbuster Boksi Ko Ghar is back with a new project.
Actress Keki Adhikari and director Sulakshyan Bharati have announced their collaboration on the upcoming film Petrol Pump.
“At the time of Boksi Ko Ghar’s release, we had said we would work together again if the right project and timing came along,” Keki said. “Now, that opportunity has come with Petrol Pump.”
The film will be directed by Sulakshyan Bharati, who also wrote the story. Keki Adhikari will serve as the producer. Both had similarly taken on these roles in their previous hit, Boksi Ko Ghar.
Petrol Pump is slated for release in 2083 BS. The production team has not yet revealed the full cast.
“We will share details about the cast and technical crew in due course,” Keki said.
In Boksi Ko Ghar, both Keki and Sulakshan also acted, with Keki in the lead role.
Produced by Badri Adhikari, the film grossed over Rs 110 million at the Nepali box office, marking Keki’s debut as a producer with a blockbuster hit. Its song ‘Bujhina Maile’ also went viral.
“With our first film, we brought a fresh perspective to audiences, and it was well received. We aim to bring the same novelty and innovation to this film,” Keki added.
