KATHMANDU: Nepali Communist Party leader Jhalanath Khanal has vowed to secure a majority in the upcoming elections and establish a new leftist revolutionary government in Nepal.
Speaking at the Gen Z Awakening and Cultural Program organized by Gen Z Red Force on Sunday, Khanal outlined the party’s main goal: winning a majority in the elections to lead the country toward scientific socialism.
He asserted that the Nepali Communist Party would take on the leadership of the entire nation.
Khanal urged party workers to begin nationwide preparations to ensure victory for NCP candidates. “Under the leadership of the Nepali Communist Party, we are uniting 29.2 million Nepalis and moving toward a new socialist revolution. For now, our focus is on the election campaign. We aim to transform the upcoming parliament into a reformative parliament by ensuring our candidates win across the country. Securing a majority and forming a new leftist revolutionary government is our strategic goal. Only then can we advance toward scientific socialism,” he said.
He also emphasized the party’s focus on youth participation, announcing that 40 percent of party members will be young leaders, preparing the next generation for leadership roles.
