KATHMANDU: The film Janai Harayeako Manchhe: Sambandhka Dhagaharu has entered its second week of screening today, buoyed by positive word-of-mouth from audiences.

The film, which highlights the struggles of middle-class Nepali families, tells the story of a son striving to lift his parents out of financial hardship.

Audiences have responded warmly to its heartfelt narrative.

“Our film has received excellent feedback from viewers, and we are confident it will perform even better in its second week,” said director Himal Neupane. “Strong word-of-mouth is helping the film reach more people, and we believe that will reflect in its box office performance.”

Emotional reactions from audiences, including tearful video responses, have been shared widely on social media.

The film features a stellar cast including Bijay Baral, Keki Adhikari, Miruna Magar, Shushank Mainali, Bholaraj Sapkota, Gaurav Pahadi, Rear Rai, Bhawana Khapangi Magar, Rupesh Lama, and Suman Thapa.

Directed by Himal Nyaupane, the film’s associate director is Prem Geet 3 actor Manish Raut.

Produced under the Paperclip banner, Kamal Neupane and Bimal Neupane serve as producers, while executive producers include Narayan Timilsina, Chudamani Siwakoti, R.K. Manandhar, C.R. Basnet, Philip D.C., and James Maharajan.

The film’s music is composed by Thaneshwar Gautam, Arjun Pokhrel, S.D. Yogi, and Prashant Siwakoti, with cinematography by Nabin Gurung (DOP) and Krishna Pariyar.

The story, screenplay, and dialogues are penned by Bhanubhakt Dhakal. Dinesh Bahadur Raut is the chief assistant director, supported by assistant directors Tarkraj Neupane, Ravindra Nepal, Monika Thapa, and Akash K.C. Production controller is Laxman Raj Paudel, and distribution is handled by Kafiya Films, led by Govind Shahi.
