Jaecoo J6T electric SUV officially launched in Nepal

KATHMANDU: SPG Automobiles Pvt. Ltd. has officially launched the all-new Jaecoo J6T, an all-road electric SUV, at a high-profile event in Nepal on Monday.
The event was attended by Sharda Group Managing Director Sandeep Kumar Sharda, Director Gaurav Sharda, industry professionals, media representatives, influencers, and automobile enthusiasts.
The Jaecoo J6T, brought to Nepal by SPG Automobiles, the official distributor of Omoda & Jaecoo, is available in a Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) variant. While the maximum retail price is set at Rs 6,899,000, an introductory offer reduces the price to Rs 6,699,000.
The SUV is powered by a rear-mounted motor producing 220 Nm of torque.
It uses a Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) CATL battery, which the company claims provides a driving range of up to 431 kilometers on a single charge.
In terms of dimensions, the Jaecoo J6T features a 225 mm ground clearance, 4,433 mm length, 1,916 mm width, 1,741 mm height, and a 2,715 mm wheelbase.Modern features include 19-inch tires, a 15.6-inch central touchscreen, a 9.2-inch instrument panel, a 50-watt wireless charger, and an 8-speaker audio system.
Compared to the previous Jaecoo J6, the new model offers improved ground clearance and an extended driving range of 431 km, up from 200 mm and 400 km, respectively.
Its rugged, boxy design draws inspiration from the Land Rover Defender, emphasizing adventure and off-road capability.
SPG Automobiles Pvt. Ltd. stated that the Jaecoo J6T is specifically designed for adventurous journeys and challenging road conditions.
The SUV is now available across official Omoda & Jaecoo showrooms throughout Nepal.
With this launch, SPG Automobiles aims to strengthen its presence in Nepal’s rapidly expanding SUV market, while offering customers an innovative, reliable, and thrilling driving experience.
