IPL: Sunrisers vs Rajasthan & Chennai vs Mumbai rivalry today

KATHMANDU: The Indian Premier League (IPL), which started on Saturday, will feature two thrilling matches today.

The first match will be between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals in Hyderabad, starting at 3:45 PM Nepali time.

Sunrisers Hyderabad, led by Pat Cummins, is known for its aggressive batting style. Indian cricketer Abhishek Sharma and Australian Travis Head will be key players to watch for their explosive batting.

The team also strengthened its lineup with new additions like Ishan Kishan and Mohammad Shami, making them strong contenders for the title this season.

Rajasthan Royals, despite playing good cricket over the years, has not been able to win the IPL title since their victory in the inaugural season of 2008.

Last season, they reached the playoffs, and this season, due to the regular captain Sanju Samson’s injury, young Ryan Parag will captain the team for the initial matches. However, Sanju Samson is expected to play in today’s game.

The second match of the day will feature the biggest rivalry in IPL history: Chennai Super Kings vs Mumbai Indians in Chennai. Under the captaincy of Ruturaj Gaikwad, Chennai looks strong. MS Dhoni, still playing in the IPL, makes this match even more special for his global fanbase.

Mumbai Indians, who had a poor season last year, will be led by Suryakumar Yadav in place of the suspended Hardik Pandya. Mumbai finished at the bottom last season, while Chennai secured the fifth position.
