KATHMANDU: Inter Milan staged a stunning comeback to defeat Como 4–3 in a thrilling Serie A encounter, strengthening their grip on the title race.

Como looked in complete control before the break, racing into a 2–0 lead. Álex Valle opened the scoring in the 36th minute, finishing a move assisted by Nico Paz. Paz then doubled the advantage himself just before halftime, putting the hosts in a commanding position.

However, Inter responded at a crucial moment. Marcus Thuram pulled one back in first-half stoppage time and struck again just four minutes into the second half to level the score at 2–2.

The momentum had firmly shifted. In the 58th minute, Hakan Çalhanoğlu delivered a precise free-kick that was headed home by Denzel Dumfries, giving Inter the lead for the first time. Dumfries added his second in the 72nd minute, extending the advantage to 4–2.

Como mounted a late push, and Lucas Da Cunha converted a penalty in the 89th minute to reduce the deficit. But Inter held firm through the closing moments to secure all three points.

The victory sees Inter extend their lead at the top of the Serie A table to 75 points from 32 matches, nine clear of Napoli in second place. Como, meanwhile, remain fifth with 58 points.
