KATHMANDU: Inter Milan secured a 2-0 victory over third-placed Atalanta in Serie A, extending their lead at the top of the table to 3 points.
The match took place at Atalanta’s home ground, where Carlos Augusto opened the scoring for Inter in the 54th minute.

Atalanta’s Ederson was sent off in the 81st minute after receiving a second yellow card, while Inter’s Alessandro Bastoni also received a second yellow card in the 90th minute, resulting in his dismissal.
With this victory, Inter Milan now has 64 points from 29 games, sitting 3 points ahead of second-placed Napoli.
Atalanta remains in third place with 58 points.
