In pics: ‘United Gen Z’ protest

KATHMANDU: The ‘United Gen Z’ group took to the streets again today, calling for good governance and protesting against the current government.

The demonstration, held at Maitighar Mandala, saw participation from leaders including Miraj Dhungana.

Protesters demanded the resignation of Prime Minister Sushila Karki and Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal.

As part of the ‘Garikhan Deu’ campaign, the youth criticized the government’s 100-day performance as a failure.

They urged the formation of a multi-party government and stressed that good governance must be established before any elections are held.

While police intervened during Monday’s peaceful demonstration, no interference was reported today.
