ICC Women’s T20 Global Qualifier schedule out
Nepal has been placed in Group B.
KATHMANDU: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced the schedule for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Global Qualifier to be held in Nepal.
The tournament features 10 participating nations.
According to the schedule released today, Nepal has been placed in Group B, marking the national women’s team’s debut in the Global Qualifier after progressing through the Asia Qualifier.
Nepal’s group includes Scotland, Thailand, the Netherlands, and Zimbabwe.
The tournament will run from Jan 14 to Feb 1, with Group A featuring Bangladesh, Namibia, the United States, and Papua New Guinea.
Matches will be held at Mulpani Cricket Ground and Tribhuvan International Cricket Ground.
Nepal will open their campaign on Jan 18 against Thailand at Mulpani Cricket Ground.
The top three teams from each group will advance to the Super Six stage, and the top four from the Super Six will secure spots in the 2026 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.
