ICC Chair congratulates CAN on successful NPL
Expressing confidence in Chanda’s leadership, the ICC Chair said Nepali cricket is poised to reach new heights.
KATHMANDU: International Cricket Council (ICC) Chair Jay Shah has congratulated the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) for the successful completion of the Nepal Premier League (NPL).
In a letter addressed to CAN President Chatur Bahadur Chand, Shah praised the smooth organization of the second edition of the NPL, describing it as a significant achievement for Nepali cricket.
Expressing confidence in Chanda’s leadership, the ICC Chair said Nepali cricket is poised to reach new heights.
He noted that the NPL is not only helping produce new players but is also strengthening Nepal’s presence on the international cricket stage.
Shah further highlighted that the NPL has set exemplary standards in both organizational management and the quality of cricket.
He extended his best wishes to CAN for continued success in promoting and developing cricket in Nepal in the years ahead.
