HoR meeting today

KATHMANDU: A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) is taking place at the Federal Parliament building, New Baneswor today.
In this session, Minister of Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation, Shakti Bahadur Basnet, plans to propose a broad discussion on the agreement regarding the formation of the International Solar Alliance (ISA).
Minister of Agriculture and Livestock Development, Jwala Kumari Sah, is scheduled to introduce a proposal for deliberating the Food Hygiene and Quality Bill, 2078, along with the report from the Agriculture, Cooperative, and Natural Resources Committee.
Additionally, there will be a proposal for the passage of the Food Hygiene and Quality Bill, 2080.
The agenda also includes deliberations on the principles and priorities of the Appropriation Bill for the fiscal year 2081-082.
Furthermore, Finance Minister Barshman Pun is expected to address queries raised by legislators during the ongoing discussions.
