PM Oli’s Q&A session put off
The scheduled question-and-answer session with the Prime Minister was removed from the agenda.
KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s scheduled question-and-answer session in the House of Representatives on Tuesday has been removed from the parliamentary agenda due to his ill health.
According to Shekhar Adhikari, spokesperson for Speaker Devraj Ghimire, the Prime Minister will be unable to attend Tuesday’s parliamentary session owing to health reasons, leading to the cancellation of the Q&A program.
The House of Representatives convened at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, with the agenda initially including a direct question-and-answer session between the Prime Minister and lawmakers.
However, the Speaker’s Secretariat confirmed that this session was postponed due to the Prime Minister’s health condition.
Earlier, the Cabinet meeting scheduled for Monday was also postponed as Prime Minister Oli was unwell.
His personal secretariat reported that the Prime Minister is currently resting and undergoing medical treatment as per doctors’ advice.
