HoR approves referral of APF bill to committee

KATHMANDU: The meeting of the House of Representatives today unanimously approved the proposal to refer the ‘Armed Police Force, Nepal Bill, 2081’ to the relevant committee for detailed discussion.

During the session, Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak presented the proposal to send the ‘Armed Police Force, Nepal Bill, 2081’ to the committee for further deliberation.

Speaker Devraj Ghimire announced that the proposal to refer the bill to the committee for detailed discussion had been unanimously accepted.

During the meeting, the Secretary of the House of Representatives, Harkaraj Rai, tabled a bill received from the National Assembly regarding the ‘Tilganga Eye Institute University Bill, 2081’ along with the message from the National Assembly.
