Himalayan Life launches digital portal to modernize insurance services
The new Agency Portal allows managers across the country to submit insurance proposals online through the company’s proprietary software system.
KATHMANDU: Himalayan Life Insurance Limited has launched a special digital facility for its agency managers, aiming to make the insurance sector more modern and technology-friendly.
The new Agency Portal allows managers across the country to submit insurance proposals online through the company’s proprietary software system.
With this digital initiative, agency managers no longer need to visit company offices in person to get proposals approved.
They can now submit all necessary documents and details from their home or office, and the company will conduct online underwriting to assess insurance risks and approve proposals promptly.
According to CEO Kapil Kumar Dahal, the system is designed to integrate agency managers into the company’s underwriting process.
“Agency managers who meet specific criteria have been granted access to the portal,” Dahal said. “This will make the proposal approval process faster, more efficient, and highly convenient.”
The portal also enables managers to access reports and detailed business information related to their operations.
Himalayan Life plans to further expand its technology-driven services in the future.
The company believes this move will not only empower its workforce with digital tools but also provide quicker and more efficient services to clients.
