KATHMANDU: The Government of Nepal has announced plans to implement the recommendations of the High-Level Economic Reform Advisory Commission in the upcoming fiscal year 2082/83, aiming to revitalize the national economy.

Unveiling the government’s policies and programs for the new fiscal year, President Ramchandra Paudel stated that the implementation of the report will play a crucial role in stimulating economic growth and recovery.

The commission, chaired by former Finance Secretary Rameshore Khanal, has already submitted its comprehensive report to the government, outlining key reforms necessary for sustainable and inclusive economic development.

The government emphasized that job creation and poverty alleviation will be pursued through collaborative efforts among the public, private, and cooperative sectors.

Furthermore, the policy document highlighted a commitment to promoting Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) to foster high, sustainable, and broad-based economic growth.

In addition, the government pledged to ensure better coordination between fiscal and monetary policies to maintain economic stability and resilience.
